Frequently asked questions
Everything people ask before they move into Red Cloud RV Park. If yours isn't here, text us.
Can Red Cloud RV Park fit a big rig?
Yes. We have 35 pull-through sites, and Premium sites are sized for 40-plus-foot fifth-wheels and Class A coaches with a tow vehicle. Tell us your length when you text and we'll put you on the right pad.
How much does a monthly RV site cost in Silsbee?
Standard monthly sites at Red Cloud RV Park are $450 per month and Premium sites are $525 per month. Every site has full hookups with 30 and 50 amp service. Electric is metered and billed on top of rent.
How does monthly billing work?
Site rent is due on the first of each month through Campspot, by card or bank draft. No cash, Zelle, or Venmo. Electric is read monthly and billed with rent.
Are pets allowed?
Yes, pets are welcome. Keep them leashed in common areas and pick up after them. Ask about breed and count limits when you text us.
Is there a minimum stay?
Monthly is our standard. Weekly and nightly stays are available when sites are open, with current pricing on Campspot.
What is the Wi-Fi like?
Park Wi-Fi is available for email and browsing. If you work from your rig, bring your own hotspot or Starlink. Most sites have a clear view of the southern sky.
Where do residents work?
Most long-term residents commute to the Beaumont and Port Arthur refineries, the LNG terminals at Sabine Pass, or local jobs in Silsbee and Lumberton. US 96 puts you on the road fast.
How far is Red Cloud RV Park from Beaumont?
About 25 minutes. We are on US Highway 96 North in Silsbee, straight down 96 to Lumberton and into Beaumont, with no back roads.
Do you allow long-term or full-time RV living?
Yes. Most of the park is monthly residents, many of them full-timers. There is no cap on how long you can stay as long as rent is current and the rig is in good condition.
Can I have packages delivered?
Ask the office about package delivery when you move in. Most residents use the park address for UPS and FedEx and a PO box in Silsbee for mail.
Are there age or condition requirements for RVs?
We ask that rigs be road-worthy, in good cosmetic condition and self-contained. Send a photo when you text and we'll confirm.
Is the park quiet?
Yes. Quiet hours are 10 pm to 7 am. Most residents work early shifts, so the park is calm at night.
Do you have tent sites?
Yes, a small number of tent sites are available for short stays. Text for availability.
